Smarter Balanced Practice Test
The Smarter Balanced Practice Test and the Training Test provide students with a preview of test questions aligned to academic standards for grades 3–8 and high school in both English language arts/literacy and math. Both resources can help teachers and students prepare for the Smarter Balanced assessments.
Explore what the Field Test will look like by taking a Practice Test (around 30 questions) or a Training Test (around 8 questions). You can try English-Language Arts, Math or Performance Tasks.
JUSTAP MEETING 4/18 6pm!
All are welcome to participate (or sit back and observe!) in a JUSTAP meeting! Meetings typically run from 6pm to 7pm in room K-1
Being involved in your child's education can look a number of different ways. One way to help is by attending JUSTAP meetings. You will quickly learn more about the goals and visions of both fellow parents and the teachers of Jackson Elementary, all while being a crucial part in accomplishing these goals! You have a voice! Your involvement (no matter how big or small) WILL make a difference in our student's education!
We understand you are busy, if you aren't able to attend a meeting, but would like to offer your help in some capacity, please contact Ms. Silveira or Ms. Magpusao.
So many things are possible with a STRONG and involved parent teacher group! Please consider attending a meeting.

YMCA Point Bonita 5th Grade Science Camp 2017-2018
Remember 4th grade parents, you can start paying your child's science camp account for 2017-2018 Science Camp. The cost will be $350 for 4 days and 3 nights. Parents have found paying monthly very helpful in lessening the burden of the cost at one time. Payment coupons will be sent home monthly. Deposit of $100 to reserve a spot is due by the last day of this school year. We will be attending Science Camp November 14th- November 17th.
You must be cleared to work in the classrooms or attend field trips! Fill out an application, available in the school office, along with at TB test. Fingerprinting is also required and is done through the District Office. Returning volunteers who cleared in the 2015-2016 need to complete a new application only.
